KILDARE ladies football team certainly got their LIDL Division 3 campaign off to a flyer last week in St Conleth’s Park, beating Down by 3-13 to 0-6 but they expect a much tougher test against Longford in Hawkfield on Sunday (2pm), from talking to Roisín Byrne on this week’s Kildare Nationalist Square Ball Podcast. Diane O’Hora has made 3 changes from last week’s starting XV with Lara Gilbert (Kildangan/Nurney) coming in for Claire Sullivan at corner back, Mia Doherty of Leixlip in for Triona Duggan in the half-back line and Roisín Forde (Maynooth) in for Holly Tyrrell in the forwards.
