Kildare’s new minor football manager, Niall Cronin has named his 35-man panel for the upcoming season.
Once more Naas club lead the way with six players named on the panel including dual player Ryan Sinkey while Raheens have five players representing them and Round Towers four including senior manager Glenn Ryan’s son Ben. Father and son are pictured in 2012 celebrating Longford’s Division 3 title, when Ryan senior was manager.
The relative weakness of Newbridge clubs at this level must remain a concern with Sarsfields contributing two players but none from Moorefield.
The team begin a tough Round Robin Group against Offaly on March 19th, with Meath and Longford also up against the Lilies in the group.
